Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment; specific shifts to be provided upon interview
Qualifications:
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure 2-3 years of recent experience managing ventilated patients at the bedside, functioning independently Recent work history in a hospital setting with direct NICU experience Strong proficiency with the Servo U ventilator, including modes used in NICU settings Bonus skills: Familiarity with Drager, Bunnell Jet Vent, Sensormedic 3100A oscillator, and Nitric Oxide is highly desirable
Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients Independently manage and troubleshoot various ventilatory support systems Work collaboratively with NICU and pediatric teams, contributing to patient care plans Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with safety protocols Educate patients' families on ventilatory care and respiratory support as appropriate
