This key role centers on providing essential respiratory therapy services and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Schedule:

13-week contract Three 12-hour shifts per week Night shifts

Qualifications:

Active Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred, if available State of Florida Respiratory License required College diploma or transcripts (must be included in application materials) Candidates must not reside in Broward, Dade, Palm Beach, or Monroe counties

Responsibilities:

Assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders following physician orders Administer oxygen therapy, inhaled medications, and mechanical ventilation as appropriate Monitor and document patient progress and therapeutic outcomes Collaborate with medical staff and other allied health professionals to ensure optimal care Educate patients and their families about respiratory care and at-home management Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements
