Qualifications:
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license Recent (within the last 2-3 years) and current clinical experience functioning independently at the bedside Proficient in care and management of ventilated patients, particularly in the NICU Strong experience using the Servo U ventilator in neonatal care
Bonus:
Familiarity with Drager, Bunnell Jet Vent, Sensormedic 3100A oscillator, and Nitric Oxide therapy Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct bedside care, primarily to ventilated patients in a specialty unit Operate, troubleshoot, and assess advanced ventilatory equipment Collaborate with interdisciplinary pediatric teams to optimize patient outcomes Accurately document care and communicate changes in patient status Adapt quickly to varied protocols and diverse leadership approaches
