1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 5+ years of experience and strong pediatric critical care background for a 13-week night shift travel contract at a women's and children's hospital in Tampa, FL. Details Position is based in the Respiratory Care department of a women's and children's hospital Pediatric patient population including NICU, PICU, and Pediatric Med/Surg settings Procedures performed in both critical care and non-critical care areas on patients of all ages 12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM Schedule includes every other weekend 13-week assignment Requirements Active RRT credential and Florida RRT license required (license required if applicable) Minimum 5 years of experience as an RRT, with prior travel experience required Strong experience in NICU, PICU, and Pediatric Med/Surg settings required Level 3 NICU experience preferred Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP Two professional references dated within the last 12 months required for consideration Skills checklist dated within the last 12 months required for consideration All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront for consideration Additional Information Performs therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care procedures under the supervision of a Respiratory Care Coordinator, in accordance with department and hospital protocols Responsibilities include administration of medical gases, aerosols, and cardiopulmonary medications; ventilatory support and life support system management; bronchopulmonary drainage; pulmonary rehabilitation; cardiopulmonary resuscitation; and airway maintenance Works collaboratively within a structured respiratory care team in a high-acuity pediatric environment Any gaps in work history exceeding 30 days must be accompanied by an explanationSimilar jobs in Tampa, FL
