Full Job Description Position Title:
Registered Nurse•Operating Room (RN-OR)

Contract Job Summary:
Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-acuity Operating Room environment, assisting surgical teams during complex procedures in a Level I Trauma setting while ensuring patient safety, sterility, and optimal surgical outcomes.
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required Previous travel nursing experience required Level I Trauma OR experience required Strong OR clinical skills required (high skills checklist rating preferred) Burn experience preferred Ability to work in high-acuity surgical environment Strong critical thinking and rapid response skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Experience working with complex surgical cases required
Responsibilities:
Provide perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures Assist surgeons and anesthesia teams during operations Maintain sterile field and OR safety standards Monitor patient condition throughout surgical procedures Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments Ensure proper documentation in EMR systems Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams Respond to intraoperative emergencies as needed Support patient safety protocols and infection control standards
