Category Respiratory - Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled professional to provide essential patient care services as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. This contract role calls for an expert in respiratory therapy practices who is comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and dedicated to improving patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Active credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Current certification or license as required Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques, equipment, and protocols Prior experience in acute care or clinical settings preferred Excellent communication and patient assessment skills Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff
Key Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures in accordance with physician orders Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes Educate patients and families about respiratory care plans, equipment use, and health management Maintain accurate patient records, documenting all care provided and response to interventions Operate ventilators, oxygen delivery devices, aerosols, and other specialized respiratory equipment Participate in emergency response situations, including code blue or rapid response events Adhere strictly to infection control and safety standards Collaborate in multidisciplinary patient care planning and quality improvement initiatives This opportunity allows you to work with a supportive healthcare team, contributing directly to patient care and well-being.
