Key Qualifications:
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials Valid state licensure and BLS certification Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings strongly preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills Ability to perform independently and adapt to changing patient needs
Schedule:
Travel position; specific shift details provided during screening
Core Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory therapy to patients across age groups Operate ventilators and other respiratory equipment safely and efficiently Monitor patient progress and update care plans accordingly Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes Educate patients and families on respiratory management and equipment use Uphold rigorous infection control and health/safety standards
