A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

This growing healthcare organization is hiring a Respiratory Therapist or RN to support patients across Garden City, Statesboro, and Vidalia, GA. You'll work with ventilators, oxygen therapy, and noninvasive ventilation, combining office-based work with home visits and hospital discharge support. $4,000 total sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates, paid at 60 and 180 days Bonus opportunity available Mileage reimbursement for approved business travel Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Office-based with required home visits and hospital discharge support On-call limited to ventilator malfunctions and new setups, not general patient call Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and provide respiratory equipment education Support patients using ventilators, oxygen therapy, and noninvasive ventilation Conduct home visits and hospital discharge visits throughout the service area Maintain accurate documentation and communicate findings to the care team Requirements Active RRT or RN credentials Active Georgia licensure required South Carolina licensure required, or willingness to obtain it Valid driver's license with clean driving record Why Garden City?
