JOB SUMMARY
This position is for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) whose responsibility is to provide direct patient care related to respiratory therapies, oxygen needs, EKG's, stress tests and appropriate rehabilitation services, in accordance with accreditation standards, federal, state, and local regulations, organizational and departmental policies and procedures and professional standards. Provides safe and efficient cardiopulmonary rehabilitation to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations. The position reports to the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services. Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum level of
Education :
Educational Level equivalent to completion of two (2) years of college with A.S in Respiratory Therapy, BS in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
Formal Training :
Advanced pulmonary assessment skills required preferred.
Licensure, Certifications & Registration :
Current Registered Therapy License in the state of Georgia. BLS required.
ACLS, PALS, NRP
required within 90 days of employment.
Work Experience :
