Key Qualifications:
Current credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Valid licensure as required by state and national regulatory bodies Demonstrated expertise with respiratory treatment modalities, ventilator management, and airway care Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to assess, prioritize, and respond effectively in acute situations Attention to detail and dedication to patient safety and comfort
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform respiratory assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions based on physician orders Conduct treatments such as nebulizer therapy, chest physiotherapy, and aerosol medications Manage ventilator settings, monitor patient responses, and make recommendations for adjustments as needed Teach patients and families about disease management and equipment usage Document all care and changes in patient status accurately and promptly Support emergency response efforts, including code situations and rapid respiratory interventions Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care
