Hospital travel assignment Responsibilities Administer medications and implement respiratory care based on the evaluate-and-treat process and expanded knowledge Deliver patient care in complex, multiple problem-patient care situations, with emphasis in critical care areas Manage protocol-driven ventilator care with significant independent decision-making and self-direction Educate patients and families, coordinate activities, and participate in staff development and education of new employees Address population-specific needs across biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and educational aspects of care Contribute to ongoing professional development and participate in education of others as part of the care team Requirements Active Respiratory Therapist licensure with RRT credential; eligible to practice in Georgia Relevant critical care/ICU experience with ventilator management Ability to work nights and adapt to a travel assignment
