What they do
A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

The Opportunity We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) What You Will Do Administer respiratory treatments and medications as prescribed by a physician Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatment plans based on clinical assessments Perform tracheostomy care and other airway management procedures Conduct patient assessments and interpret vital signs accurately Educate patients and families on respiratory therapy, equipment use, and disease management strategies Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation teams to develop and execute comprehensive care plans Respond effectively to respiratory emergencies in acute or long-term care settings Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all therapy services provided What You Must Have Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in the state of practice Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques, anatomy, and physiology Proficiency in airway management and use of respiratory equipment Experience in acute care or long-term care settings Benefits - Things We Want You to Know We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: 401(k) managed by Merrill Lynch DailyPay Health Insurance with Anthem Blue Cross or Cigna Dental, Life, Vision, and Disability Insurance Paid Time Off Career advancement opportunities!
