Requirements:
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. State licensure (or eligibility) as a Respiratory Therapist. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Prior experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred.
Responsibilities:
Deliver respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages. Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and equipment. Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
