Job Summary Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) located in the area served by the healthcare organization is responsible for evaluating patient outcomes and implementing respiratory care plans in a multidisciplinary setting. This role involves providing respiratory therapy as ordered by physicians and collaborating with medical and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.

Job Details Position Description:

Evaluates patient outcomes, makes adjustments to care plans within a team environment, and shares clinical knowledge to promote best practices. Responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing the effectiveness of respiratory care.

Required Qualifications:

Associate's degree, Illinois license, Basic Life Support certification, Respiratory Therapist Registered certification, 1 year of experience, work in a respiratory therapy specialty.

Schedule:

Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Additional Information:

Provides education and discharge instructions to patients and/or responsible persons, ensuring understanding of respiratory disease processes and interventions. Shares clinical knowledge with staff and students and may accept reassignment to other units as needed.
