A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Contract Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team. The RRT will assess, treat, and monitor patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders. Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and respiratory treatments. Operate and monitor ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and other respiratory care equipment. Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and interpret results. Assist with airway management, intubation, and emergency response procedures. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, medications, and home care equipment. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care. #RN1
