1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week night shift assignment in a large acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of critical care experience. Details Acute care setting within the Respiratory Therapy department Cares for general med, intermediate, and ICU patient populations Uses Servo U, Servo i, and LTV ventilators, Trilogy Bipap, ResMed S9 Cpap, and Fisher Paykel heated high flow equipment

used for charting 12-hour night shifts, 1830-0700 Works every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and every other holiday No call or standby call requirements No floating required within Respiratory Therapy Team lead available on each shift as a resource, does not take patient assignments Hospitalist and Intensivist available in-house 24/7 Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience required Critical care experience in a large facility (300+ beds) required RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) preferred; CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) also considered, both via

(AHA) certification required License required if applicable Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated Must not have worked at any OSF facility within the past year Must be able to produce a negative drug screen for all panels Additional Information Utilizes AARC point system with typical daily assignment of 26-28 points Department-specific orientation includes 12 hours of EPIC training, ventilator review, and specialty item review, followed by two 12-hour shifts with a preceptor before working independently Any color scrubs permitted; scrubs are not provided by facility COVID vaccination not required Local candidates accepted with reduced local bill rate for those within 50 miles of the facility
