Key Qualifications:

Current credentials as a Respiratory Therapist (RT), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Valid state licensure as required Proficiency in performing respiratory treatments, assessments, and interventions Experience operating ventilators, oxygen therapy equipment, and administering aerosol medications Strong communication and collaboration abilities to interact with medical teams and patients Knowledge of infection control and clinical safety standards BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver safe and effective respiratory care treatments to patients of varying acuity Assess and monitor patient respiratory status, documenting findings and progress Implement physician-ordered therapies, including mechanical ventilation management Educate patients and family members on disease management and equipment use Maintain accurate documentation in patient medical records Participate in care coordination and interdisciplinary rounds as appropriate Respond promptly to emergency and rapid response situations Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and operation of respiratory therapy equipment Why Apply?
