Job Description:

As a Respiratory Therapist at Elevate Care, you will play a vital role in providing respiratory care services to patients with breathing disorders. You will assess patient needs, develop and implement personalized care plans, and work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine respiratory care requirements. Develop and execute individualized respiratory care plans. Administer respiratory treatments, medications, and therapies as prescribed. Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy, adjusting care as necessary. Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and self-management strategies. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize care plans. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance respiratory care services.

Qualifications:

Current and valid Respiratory Therapist license. Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program. BLS and ACLS certifications. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care. Experience with mechanical ventilation and critical care is a plus.
