What they do
A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Relocation assistance Part-time, night shift Shift differential Weekend only option Responsibilities Provides excellent, quality, and consistent care Demonstrates competency in all therapeutic procedures Can serve as an adjunct clinical instructor Maintains high level of expertise Takes an active role in the growth and development of resp care procedures in NICU Serves as a leaderMust-Haves:
Graduate of a resp therapy program Successfully completed the Registered Respiratory Therapist and Perinatal Specialist Exam (NPS credential) by the NBRC New hires have one year from date of hire to obtain NPS credential fromNBRC CPR
Cert NPS, Stable, ACLS, PALS, or obtain within 6 months Minimum of 2 years critical care experience #alliedPay:
$29.71 - $44.56 per hour Expected hours: No more than 24.0 per weekBenefits:
