A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Full Job Description Role:
Experienced Respiratory Therapist supporting critically ill neonates in a high-acuity NICU setting.
Responsibilities:
Deliver advanced respiratory care, including ventilator management, diagnostics, and emergency response. Collaborate closely with neonatologists and NICU nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Utilize cutting-edge technology and EMR systems for accurate documentation of care. Contribute to protocol development and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in neonatal respiratory therapy, preferably in a NICU environment. Detail-oriented, highly accountable, and committed to evidence-based practice. Strong communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
