Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Respiratory Therapist, where your expertise will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. We are looking for someone to be responsible with patient contact and instruction involving CPAP, BIPAP and Home Oxygen needs. Responsibilities Instruction on the safe use of
CPAP/BIPAP
Proper facial apparatus fitting Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate respiratory status, vital signs, and oxygen needs. Operate and troubleshoot CPAP, oxygen delivery systems, and other respiratory devices with technical proficiency. Monitor patients' responses to therapy, adjusting CPAP settings and interventions as needed to ensure safety and effectiveness. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while adhering to company policies. Requirements Graduate of Respiratory Therapy program and/or currently a credential Respiratory Therapist Skills Proficiency in operating medical equipment such as CPAP, oxygen delivery systems, nebulizers, and other respiratory devices. Familiarity with DME protocols for outpatient care/services; experience working with electronic health records (EHR) efficiently. Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration; compassionate approach to patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Pay:
$120.00 - $150.00 per week
