A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Minimum Qualifications:
Valid driver's License 4 years of experience as an RRT 2 years of experience clinical respiratory care 2 years of teaching experience as Bachelor's as appointment or clinical faculty in a CoARC accredited respiratory care program If no bachelor degree is held then the candidate must be able to meet the required educational requirements from CoARC within 2 years of hire. Typically, a four-day work week, Monday to Thursday, with the ability to be flexible when visiting clinical sites. Supplemental insurance is also offered. The salary is based on experience and is to begin within the range of $63,961 to $79,895 annually. This is a full-time, exempt position.
