A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across various departments, including critical care, emergency medicine, pediatrics, and neonatal units. Your expertise will support patient recovery through effective airway management, ventilator operation, and respiratory therapy interventions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiology, medical terminology, and advanced respiratory procedures, contributing to high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment. Pay:
$2002/weekly gross, $21.00/hr, $63.00/OT, $1246 per diem Local pay: $1728/weekly gross, $48.00/hr, $72.00/OT
AHA ACLS & BLS
required Patient population: Adults 1-2 yrs ICU experience preferred Prior travel experience EPIC experience Specialize in ventilator liberation and care for critically ill patients in post-ICU, long-term acute care settings. Will perform ventilator management, airway clearance, and patient assessments, often working 12-hour shifts. Key duties include weaning patients from ventilators, conducting pulmonary function tests, and collaborating with physicians on complex care plans. #
