Key Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care for patients of varying acuity levels. Administer therapeutic modalities such as oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and inhalation treatments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to deliver patient-centered care. Perform diagnostic procedures, including arterial blood gases and pulmonary function tests. Accurately document care activities and patient progress in electronic health records. Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and equipment usage.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active and unrestricted license as a Respiratory Therapist. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required. Minimum of one year recent clinical experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team interactions. BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain before starting).
