Certified/Registered Therapist High school diploma or equivalent required. Current KY licensure with the KBRC for Respiratory Care is required. BLS training required. ACLS training preferred. Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Kentucky driver's license. Must successfully pass a written Defensive Driving course, which is included in a new-hire orientation or available through the Hospital Education Department. Must have a DOT driver's record check, which falls within the guidelines of acceptable records. Performs all respiratory care modalities. Maintains Respiratory Therapy equipment.
