13-Week Contract Schedule Information Night shift 13-week assignment Respiratory Therapist Requirements Two years of respiratory therapy experience Required respiratory therapy credential and active Kentucky respiratory care license Current BLS certification Ability to assess respiratory status, provide prescribed treatments, and respond to respiratory emergencies Experience with ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and electronic medical records Strong clinical documentation and communication skills Key Responsibilities Assess patients' respiratory status and monitor changes in condition. Provide respiratory care according to physician orders and facility procedures. Administer oxygen, respiratory medications, and prescribed treatments. Assist with airway management and mechanical ventilation. Operate and monitor respiratory care equipment. Evaluate and document patients' responses to therapy. Respond to respiratory emergencies. Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff. Follow patient safety and infection control procedures.
