Desired Qualifications:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) At least one year of recent experience in a respiratory setting BLS and ACLS certifications Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic tests and administer treatments for cardiopulmonary disorders Operate, monitor, and adjust ventilators and respiratory equipment Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members Respond rapidly to emergency situations and deliver high-quality patient care Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatments Accurately document all care provided according to facility protocols
