A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Respiratory Therapist - Local & Travel ($70-$83/hr) Concord, MA 01742 13-Week Contract | Sept. 22 - Dec. 19, 2026 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM | 36 Hours/Week | No Call Local & Travel Candidates Welcome Mandatory Requirements to Apply Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Respiratory Therapy (RT) program. NRP certification required at submission and hire. Previous Respiratory Therapist experience strongly preferred. Previous patient-care experience preferred. Travel experience required for travel candidates. Massachusetts RT license may be pending at the time of submission. Must be flexible with days scheduled. High school diploma or equivalent required. Appropriate clinical rotations through an accredited RT program required. Bonus & Benefits +

Salary Compensation Local Rate:

$70.00/hr W-2

Taxable:

$70.00/hr W-2 Local candidates within the 50-mile radius receive the local rate.

Travel Rate:

$83.00/hr

Taxable:

$32.00/hr W-2 Non-taxable stipend: $51.00/hrWeekly non-taxable stipend: $1,836/week Travel rate/package is based on qualifying travel eligibility. if you are an experienced Respiratory Therapist interested in a 13-week night-shift contract in Concord, MA. Concord plus nearby areas including Boston, Lowell, Burlington, Lexington, Waltham, Framingham, and Worcester.

Pay:

$2,520.00 - $2,988.00 per week Application Question(s): Do you have a degree/certificate from a CAAHEP-accredited Respiratory Therapy (RT) program? Do you currently hold an NRP certification? Do you have previous Respiratory Therapist experience? Do you have previous travel experience? Do you currently hold a Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist license, or can you obtain one before the assignment begins? Are you flexible with the days you are scheduled to work, including weekends?
