The base salary range for this position is $33.80-$50.22, excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Position Summary:

Respiratory Therapist, Part-time 24 Hours per week, 6pm to 6am, Methuen campus A Respiratory Therapist (RT) is a professional member of the healthcare team who provides skilled respiratory care to newborns through geriatrics under the direction/orders of a physician. The RT assists in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary diseases and related disorders in a professional and competent manner. RT participates in providing patient and family education. The RT may assess a patient's respiratory status and recommend appropriate therapy.

Responsibilities:

Ability to perform the following: ABG machine, Ventilator management, EKGs & EEGs Chest PT, Arterial punctures

Pulmonary Functions Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy or a Certificate of Completion from an AMA accredited program in Respiratory care is required.

Certification/Licensure:

MA Respiratory Care licensure, including 261 CMR 5.00 Continuing Education Requirement. (Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), or Licensed Respiratory Therapist (LRT)) Current BLS, and ACLS preferred.

Experience:

1 years of acute care experience care preferred.

Software/Hardware:

Experience with Meditech is preferred.
