1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with ventilator experience in an acute care setting for a 13-week night shift travel assignment at a 371-bed hospital in Salem, MA. Details Work at a 371-licensed-bed acute care hospital with 220 Med/Surg beds, MICU, ED, Labor and Delivery, and a Level 2
B Nursery Unit:
Respiratory Care Night shift hours: 19:00-07:30, straight nights (no rotation) Every other weekend (EOW) required 36 hours per week Staffing on nights consists of 4 Respiratory Therapists Day shift staffing includes 1 Charge RT, 2 assigned to a 20-bed ICU, and 2 assigned to Med/Surg floors Primary equipment used: PB980 Ventilator and Hamilton T1
Transport Ventilator EMR:
Epic (charting experience required) Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy RRT certification (NBRC) Active, unrestricted Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist license required — no pending licenses accepted Minimum 2 years of experience working in one location, or 1-2 years of travel RT experience Ventilator experience in an acute care setting required Ability to draw arterial blood gases (ABGs) BLS certification required — AHA only; no other providers accepted at this facility Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted 2 professional references required for consideration License required if applicable Additional Information Provide respiratory therapy services across ICU and Med/Surg settings within the hospital Timekeeping system: UKG/Kronos Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local and may be subject to an adjusted pay rate Please submit any requested time off (RTO) at the time of application 13-week contract
