Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Begin a rewarding role supporting critical respiratory care needs in a dynamic healthcare setting as a skilled Respiratory Therapist. Multiple openings are available for both Registered and Certified Respiratory Therapists. This position offers the flexibility to work either day or night shifts in a contract opportunity spanning 13 weeks. The role involves providing expert respiratory therapy across different departments, with potential to float between facilities for broader clinical exposure and experience.
Schedule/Hours:
Day and night shifts available 13-week contract duration Opportunity to float between two respected facilities for diverse patient care experience
Qualifications:
Current licensure or certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Comfortable providing care to diverse patient populations in acute care environments Experience floating between multiple hospital units or locations is a plus
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality respiratory care, including oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, airway management, and patient assessments Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans Monitor patient progress and manage respiratory treatments safely and efficiently Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, therapies, and equipment usage Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines
