Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Deliver expert respiratory care as a key member of a multidisciplinary team, supporting patients in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract opportunity offers 5 openings for skilled professionals across both day and night shifts, with a 13-week commitment. You'll have the chance to float between two respected medical facilities, broadening your experience and enhancing your skills in both critical and routine settings.
Schedule/Hours:
Multiple shifts available: Days and nights 13-week duration Rotation between facilities enhances your expertise
Key Qualifications:
Active credential as a
Respiratory Therapist:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Current licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist Demonstrated proficiency delivering care in acute settings Adaptability to transition between clinical environments as needed Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver therapeutic respiratory care to patients of varying acuity levels Operate and manage ventilators, airway devices, and other respiratory equipment Perform diagnostic tests and assist with procedures to support patient care plans Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and other allied health professionals Monitor patient status, document therapy outcomes, and adjust interventions as necessary Educate patients and families regarding respiratory therapies and equipment use
