Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional care in a respected healthcare setting, utilizing your expertise as a Respiratory Therapist. This contract opportunity seeks a dedicated professional with experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT). As a key clinical staff member, you'll play a vital role in providing respiratory care and improving patient outcomes.
Schedule:
Day shift, with on-call responsibilities
Qualifications:
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential Active BLS and ACLS certifications required Demonstrated skill in respiratory therapy within a hospital or acute care environment Up-to-date
COVID-19
vaccination status or valid medical exemption Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, evaluate, and treat patients with respiratory disorders in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Administer respiratory care procedures, including life support, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medications Monitor and document patient responses, quickly intervening in urgent or emergent situations Assist with ventilator management and airway maintenance Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans and preventative health strategies Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards Advance your career in a contract position that values your professional development and clinical proficiency.
