Job Description

Schedule:
Day shift schedule with on-call responsibility
Qualifications:
Active licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or an approved medical exemption Proven experience in acute care or hospital respiratory therapy settings Strong assessment skills and the ability to respond effectively in urgent situations Excellent communication and patient-focused care approach
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas analyses and pulmonary function tests Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment including ventilators and oxygen devices Respond rapidly to emergent respiratory situations and participate in patient resuscitation efforts when needed Document all clinical activities and patient responses accurately Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and at-home management strategies Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
