Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced professional to provide expert respiratory care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for individuals who hold credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), and are committed to delivering high-quality patient care alongside a collaborative clinical team.
Schedule/Hours:
Day shift with on-call responsibilities
Qualifications:
Valid credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications Compliance with current
COVID-19
vaccination requirements or approved medical exemption Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor patients with respiratory illnesses, providing appropriate therapies to address acute and chronic conditions Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation and airway care under physician supervision Administer medications and respiratory treatments as ordered, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with clinical protocols Educate patients and their families on managing respiratory disorders and using related equipment Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing critical support as needed during shifts and on-call coverage Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
