Job Description

Category Respiratory - Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Discover a fulfilling opportunity leveraging your expertise as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. This contract position allows you to provide essential respiratory care services within a supportive healthcare environment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist Proven experience in acute, emergency, and/or critical care settings preferred Thorough knowledge of respiratory devices, equipment, and advanced therapies Active licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer treatments and therapies to patients with chronic or acute breathing disorders Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing Assess patient conditions, adjust ventilator settings, and respond to emergencies Clearly document therapies, progress, and communicate changes to physicians and nursing staff Educate patients and their families on disease management, equipment usage, and ongoing respiratory care needs Maintain accuracy in patient records and comply with hospital protocols and safety standards
