Registered Respiratory Therapist:

implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders; participates in the education of patients, students, staff and physicians; provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care; assists with general department functions. Qualifications Required Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy Respiratory Therapist License

• State of Michigan Upon Hire required Respiratory Therapist Registry
• NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care Upon Hire required Basic Life Support (BLS)
