Job Description

Category Respiratory - Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patient care in a dynamic clinical environment. This contract role is ideal for individuals with strong clinical skills in respiratory therapy who are ready to make a difference in a collaborative healthcare setting.
Qualifications:
Valid license as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Current certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Proven experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in an acute or subacute care setting Proficiency with ventilator management, airway care, and emergency procedures BLS certification (ACLS preferred) Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities Demonstrated flexibility and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and other prescribed modalities Perform advanced airway management and ventilator support under the direction of physicians Accurately document all therapeutic interventions and patient responses Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the broader healthcare team to develop patient care plans Educate patients and families on equipment usage, respiratory care techniques, and health maintenance Monitor patient progress and respond quickly to acute changes in status This contract position offers a chance to utilize your expertise while working with a dedicated care team that supports professional growth and clinical excellence.
