This vital role involves providing expert respiratory care to critically ill neonates, supporting their recovery and stability through advanced respiratory therapies and interventions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in neonatal and pediatric respiratory management, demonstrating a strong commitment to patient-centered care within a high-acuity environment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the health outcomes of our most vulnerable patients in a dynamic hospital setting. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy services to neonatal patients, including ventilator management, airway clearance, and oxygen therapy. Monitor and assess vital signs, blood gases, and respiratory status to inform treatment plans. Operate and troubleshoot advanced medical equipment such as ventilators, pulse oximeters, and other respiratory devices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonates requiring critical respiratory support. Perform neonatal resuscitation procedures in accordance with established protocols and emergency response guidelines. Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and responses within electronic health records (EHR) systems. Assist with emergency interventions such as cardiac arrest response and airway management during critical events. Educate families on respiratory therapies, equipment use, and post-discharge care instructions. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols. Participate in ongoing training related to PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) practices, pulmonology updates, and critical care advancements.Required Qualification:
2 Years of RRT Experience- Required Must have Peds and NICU experience! NBRC (RRT), PALS, NRP,ACLS, BLS Cert
- Required MO RCP Licnense
- Required (Accepting Pending License) AL01
