A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Job Description
- Required Actively attending an accredited Respiratory Therapy training program.
- Required Work Experience One-month department orientation
- Required Licenses and Certifications Must be actively enrolled in an accredited respiratory therapy program and have completed their first clinical rotation in that program.
- Required Upon Hire Respiratory Therapist (NR) Education Permit
- From the state of Missouri
- Required within 30 Days Travel Requirements Must be able to travel between various system facilities and off-site locations as needed.
- Required Mosaic Life Care is a health care system in northwest Missouri.
