A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months. Experience with Epic is required. Trauma Level 1 experience is required.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a license (required for submission). Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted. 12 months gap required between for Staff at

Additional Details:
RNs only
•Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
NICU and/or PICU experience required. ED, NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics experience/skills required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Required Credentials:
No medical marijuana cards accepted.
Special Requests:
RTO limited to 2 requests.
Unit Details:
Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient population.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend required. No call.
