A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Job Description

We are hiring a Respiratory Therapist, you'll provide in-home respiratory therapy and clinical support to patients using ventilators, oxygen therapy, and other advanced equipment. This is a full-time schedule position. What You'll Do Conduct in-home patient assessments and provide clinical education on respiratory equipment. Adjust ventilator settings based on patient needs and physician orders. Monitor and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment to ensure optimal function. Maintain accurate documentation of services and patient interactions. Provide ongoing phone support and follow-up care for respiratory patients. Participate in on-call rotations and drive a vehicle for home visits (as needed). Support training and orientation of new clinical staff.
