Qualifications:

Current license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Prior experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care or hospital setting preferred Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

Deliver respiratory care including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and airway management Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ventilators and other respiratory equipment Monitor patients' responses to therapy and document progress Assist with emergency interventions and rapid response situations as needed Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and respiratory techniques Adhere to infection control standards and organizational policies
