This vital role delivers respiratory therapy services, supports patients with acute and chronic conditions, and collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Qualifications:
Active credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Valid licensure or eligibility as required for practice Proficiency with ventilator management, airway care, and pulmonary procedures Solid assessment, documentation, and communication skills Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting preferred
Core Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and administer respiratory therapy interventions in accordance with physician orders Monitor, evaluate, and document patient treatment, ventilator parameters, and responses to therapy Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals on care plans Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and home care Maintain compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards Ensure accurate, timely, and thorough charting of all clinical activities This role offers a contract assignment, enabling you to contribute your skills to an essential department and impact patient lives directly.
