Key Qualifications:
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Current state license (or eligibility to obtain) Previous clinical experience in respiratory care preferred Proficient in adult and pediatric respiratory therapies Strong communication and critical-thinking skills Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environments
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory care therapies and treatments to patients of varying acuity Monitor, assess, and document patient progress Operate complex respiratory equipment and provide education to patients and families Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Respond promptly to emergency situations, including Code Blue activations Maintain up-to-date documentation in accordance with facility policies
