A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Pay:

$32.00 - $43.24 | $20,000 Retention Bonus Available.

Registered Respiratory Therapist Opportunity:

Full-Time | Permanent Position Provide comprehensive respiratory care services including patient assessment, diagnostic testing, therapeutic interventions, cardiopulmonary support, monitoring, and patient education. A Registered Respiratory Therapist will deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders while collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Registered Respiratory Therapist Qualifications:

Associate's degree or higher required. Current Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner license required (or eligibility for licensure). Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures, cardiopulmonary equipment, infection control, quality improvement, and patient safety standards.
