Job Description

Respiratory Therapist in Great Falls, MT, responsible for delivering specialized care to patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to implement optimal respiratory treatment plans. The role offers an opportunity for professional growth within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy Monitor and record patient responses to treatment Perform diagnostic procedures such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis Maintain and operate ventilators and other respiratory support equipment Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response Team calls Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and update patient care plans Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and therapies Ensure all equipment is sanitized, functional, and complies with safety standards
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through the NBRC Current Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Preferred Skills:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
