A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Respiratory Therapist Opportunity:
Shifts:
Days and Nights Available Full-time, permanent position The Respiratory Therapist will deliver respiratory care in collaboration with department leadership, including patient assessment, treatment, and clinical support to nursing staff The Respiratory Therapist will operate and manage respiratory equipment and procedures, including ventilators, gas delivery systems, inhaled medications, and ABG testing
Respiratory Therapist Requirements:
CRT candidates welcome to apply-must obtain RRT within 1 year of employment Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapist program Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS, certification required
