This assignment provides exposure to NICU environments and different leadership styles, enabling you to grow your clinical expertise. You'll add valuable NICU and C-section coverage experience to your resume, making you stand out in your field. In your downtime, take advantage of Asheville's vibrant culinary scene, eclectic music venues, and scenic hiking trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Schedule/Hours:
6:30 PM to 7:00 AM Weekends as needed No on-call required
Qualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (active NC license required) Minimum of 2 years of NICU respiratory therapy experience Current AHA-issued NRP, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Able to cover C-sections and provide high-level NICU care Credentialing documents due one week before start date 2-week notice for contract end
Responsibilities:
Deliver excellent respiratory therapy to NICU patients, including during C-section deliveries Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to support infant and maternal health Uphold the highest standards in respiratory assessment and treatment planning Document care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital protocols
