Job Description

As a Manager of Respiratory Therapy with Angel Medical Center you can be a part of an organization that is devoted to giving back! Job Summary and Qualifications Supports area operations, programs, and activities consistent with senior leadership's objectives. Specific job duties will vary based on area served.
Essential Accountabilities:
Assist with coordination of finances, CDM changes and clinical operations in managing Respiratory Care Services for Mission Health System and provide information to Saint Joseph's staff in keeping with the standards for Respiratory Care Services within Mission Health System. As well as Communicates information and direction from the director to the supervisory staff and any other pertinent leadership for the service. Manage all diagnostic labs reporting to Respiratory Care Service including both inpatient and outpatient areas. Manage Arterial Blood Gas Lab Operations and assist blood gas staff with supply related direction. Manage Pulmonary Function Lab Operations and Coordinate all AHA activities for Respiratory Services. Provide hardware computer support for Respiratory Services and Coordinate all AHA activities for Respiratory Services. Also provides Federal, State and regional information to the staff as well as upkeep and information on Licensure. Provides director as well as supervisors with a direct link to the Board for Respiratory Care in North Carolina.
What qualifications you will need:
Required Education:
 Bachelor's Degree or Graduate of any Respiratory Care Therapist Program approved by CoARC, and RRT.
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree, CPFT, RPFT Required License:
RRT. BCLS
may be required for those leaders providing patient care
Preferred License:
North Carolina Board of Respiratory Care RCP License Professional Organization requirements: American Association for Respiratory Care, North Carolina Society for
Respiratory Care, College of American Pathologists Inspector, Advisory Board Member Respiratory Care MAHEC, Advisory Board Member Respiratory Care Southwestern Community College Required Experience:
 Three years of technical and managerial experience in area. Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, Internet and Intranet software and e- mail.
